THE CURRENT WEATHER OF BALOCHISTAN

" RAIN-STRONG WIND-THUNDERSHOWER PREDICTED IN BALOCHISTAN FROM NEXT UPCOMING WEEK (SATURDAY TO ONWARDS) (MONSOON LIKELY TO REMAIN IN ACTIVE PHASE DURING THE NEXT WEEK) Met Office informed that strong monsoon currents are likely to penetrate in Balochistan from next upcoming week. Under the influence of this weather system: • Rain-strong wind-thundershower (with few heavy falls at time) in expected in Sherani, Zhob Musakhel, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Duki, Barkhan, Pishin, Quetta, Mastung, Sibbi, Ziarat, Harnai, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Bolan, Nasirabad, Lehri, Sohbatpur, Jhal Magsi, Jafarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Washuk, Panjgur, Kech, Awaran, Lasbella and coastal areas of the province. POSSIBLE IMPACTS: • Heavy rains may generate flash flooding in the vulnerable area of above mentioned districts during the period. • Possibility of damaging effects due to wind-storm during the forecast period. All concerned authorities are advised to remain “ALERT” during the forecast period. "
