FIRST RAIN/SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON PREDICTED DURING NEXT 48 HOURS IN NORTHWEST BALOCHISTAN

A western rain bearing system is likely to enter northwest parts of Balochistan on Wednesday. Under the influence of this weather system:

Rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at scattered places in Ziarat, Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Mastung, Noshki and Chaghi whereas isolated places in Sherani, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Pishin, Harnai, Naseerabad, Kalat, Kharan and Washuk districts  from  Wednesday (Evening) to Thursday (Morning).

Light Snowfall over the hills is also expected in Ziarat, Qila Abdullah and Quetta districts during the period.

All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures, to mitigate weather induced hazards accordingly.

MONSOON RAIN PREDICTED DURING NEXT 36 HOURS IN NORTHEAST BALOCHISTAN

Moist monsoon currents are penetrating in the country. Isolated rain-thundershowers with a few  heavy intensity rains are likely to occur in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel & Barkhan districts, from today evening) to Sunday (morning).

There is a risk of flash flooding in the local streams of Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, & Musakhel districts during the period. All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures, to mitigate weather induced hazards accordingly.

Scattered thundershowers with isolated heavy intensity rains are likely to occur in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Sibbi, Quetta, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kohlu & Dera Bugti districts during today (evening) to Friday (morning).

There is a risk of flash flooding in the local streams of Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Kalat and Khuzdar districts during the period. All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures, to mitigate weather induced hazards accordingly.

ISOLATED HEAVY RAINFALL PREDICTED IN NORTHEAST BALOCHISTAN DURING NEXT 48 HOURS

Moist monsoon currents are penetrating in the country that would produce scattered rain-thundershowers in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Kohlu & Lasbella districts during next 48 hours. The system would intensify during next 24 hrs and produce isolated heavy intensity rains in the aforementioned districts from Saturday to Sunday.

There is a risk of flash flooding in the local streams of Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Kohlu & Lasbella districts. All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures, to mitigate weather induced hazards accordingly.

MONSOON RAIN PREDICTED DURING NEXT 72 HOURS IN NORTHEAST BALOCHISTAN

Moist monsoon currents have started penetrating in the country. Isolated rain- thundershower likely to occur during next 24 hours in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Barkhan, Loralai, Qila Saifullah, Sibbi, Quetta, Kalat, Kohlu & Dera Bugti districts. The system would intensify and produce scattered rain-thundershowers with isolated heavy intensity rains in the aforementioned districts, from Wednesday (evening) to Friday (morning).

There is a risk of flash flooding in the local streams of Zhob, Sherani, Barkhan, Musakhel, Loralai, Qila Saifullah and Kalat districts. All concerned authorities are advised to take precautionary measures, to mitigate weather induced hazards accordingly.

          MONSOON RAINS PREDICTED IN NORTHEAST BALOCHISTAN DURING NEXT 48-72 HOURS         

                      Moist Monsoon currents have started penetrating in southern parts of country. Isolated thundershowers with gusty winds are likely to occur in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Barkhan, Mastung, Sibbi, Ziarat, Harnai, Kohlu, Dera Bugti, Bolan, Nasirabad, Jhal Magsi, Jaffarabad, Kalat, Khuzdar, Awaran and Lasbella districts during next 24 hours. The rainy system may intensify on Tuesday evening and produce scattered thundershowers on Wednesday and Thursday. Isolated rainfall may occur in Quetta district during period.

                     There is risk of flash floods in local Nullahs of Zhob, Sibbi and Nasirabad districts .     A western rain-bearing system is approaching Pakistan and will effect Balochistan region on Monday/Tuesday.  Under the influence of this system, moderate to heavy rain-thunderstorm with chances of Flash Flooding is expected in Sherani, Zhob, Musakhel, Qila Saifullah, Loralai, Pishin, Quetta, Qila Abdullah, Mustung, Noshki, Ziarat, Harnai, Kalat, Khuzdar, Kharan, Washuk, Punjgur and Turbat districts.

    A westerly rain-bearing system is still persisting over Pakistan and will effect Balochistan region from Friday till Saturday.  Under the influence of this system, scattered thunderstorm-rain of moderate intensity associated with gusty winds is predicted across northern Balochistan during the period.

    Scattered thunderstorm-rain with isolated heavy falls may occur in Sherani, Musakhel, Qila Saifullah and Barkhan districts.
